APPLICATION OF DIGITALIZATION AND INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT) TECHNOLOGY IN NETWORK LEAKAGE MANAGEMENT IN MACAO WATER

摘要: 粤港澳大湾区的新城区及城镇居住人口密集,供水企业规模各异,管理情况参差不齐。其中,管道漏损控制领域普遍存在营运和管理方面的困难。在国家碳达峰、碳中和的大背景下,供水企业需要采取更积极的手段措施来实现碳达标和碳中和的行业目标,而漏损控制是其中的一个关键控制点。目前,大部分供水企业采取传统的管理措施和管道探漏方法。文章以澳门供水漏损管理的实际经验为基础总结出漏损管理5大具体措施,强调将漏损管理与数字化、智能化管理模式相结合,列举了互联网感知技术在测漏、管网瞬时压力管理等领域应用案列来介绍新型漏损管理方法和效果。Abstract: The new urban areas and towns in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area are characterized by huge populations, varying scales of water supply enterprises, and inconsistent management practices. Among them, pipeline leak control commonly faces operational and managerial challenges. With the strong promotion of carbon reduction at the national level, water supply enterprises need to adopt more proactive measures to meet carbon targets and achieve carbon neutrality, with leak control being a key control point. Currently, most water supply enterprises adopt traditional management measures and pipeline leak detection methods. Based on the practical experience of leakage management in Macao's water supply, the article summarizes five specific measures for leakage management. It emphasizes the integration of water leakage management, digitalization, and intelligent management approaches. Some specific new leakage management methods and their effects are introduced by examples of the application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in leak detection and pressure transient management in the pipeline network
