Based on computational fluid dynamics ( CFD) technology, numerical simulation on spray scrubber of flue gas
treatment system of a boron ferroalloy plant was carried out on fluent plantform, and the existing operating parameters and
conditions were considered. The distribution of flow field in the conditions with and without spray was compared,in addition,
the effects of spray pressure, inlet velocity of flue gas and uniformity of droplet distribution were analyzed. Higher spray
pressure and lower gas velocity help the mass transfer between gas-liquid phase, besides the gas-liquid phase mass transfer
efficiency is closely related with the droplet distribution.
