Trends in material metabolism of China's PET industry and potential of PET recycling for pollution and carbon reduction

  • 摘要: 聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)广泛应用于瓶片、纺织纤维、薄膜等领域,由此产生大量废弃PET产品,造成的环境影响突出,亟需探索减污降碳协同增效机制。探索了中国PET行业2000—2025年的动态物质流规律,结合生命周期评价法测算了该行业的环境影响,揭示了再生利用是该行业减污降碳协同增效的最优路径。结果表明:2025年中国PET消费量将较2000年增长10.87倍,同年该行业的温室气体排放量及酸化潜力将分别达194.7 Mt CO2-eq及0.16 Mt SO2-eq,分别较2000年增长11.1,10.1倍;通过再生利用可有效替代原生资源开发过程的环境影响,且大幅降低填埋焚烧数量,2000—2025年再生利用法累计减少19.2%的温室气体排放量,累计人体毒性、酸化潜力和非生物资源消耗量分别下降21.9%、19.0%和18.7%。基于此,建议实现循环流程技术升级,加快绿色循环产业链建设,通过提高化学循环比例,实现再生资源的品质提高。
