Phytoremediation is an effective approach for remediation and comprehensive control of heavy metal contamination in
mining area. The research progress abroad in phytoremediation technology of heavy metal contaminations in mine degraded
soils including phytostabilization,phytoextraction,phytovolatilisation,phytofiltration started early,while China fall far behind
in the related research fields. Recently,studies in China and abroad about the ecological remediation of rare earth mining are
scarce,which should be strengthened in future.
