Founded in 1982, ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING is a National Journal in field of environmental protection science and technology, approved by the State Press and Publication Administration and published globally. It is under the charge of China Iron and Steel Industry Association, sponsored by central research institute of building and construction Co., Ltd, MCC Group, as well as the environmental engineering branch of China Environmental Science Association. At present, it is the only academic journal with cross regional, cross industry, features engineering application of the advanced environmental engineering technologies. 

With the aim of promoting engineering technology innovation and serving engineering application, the Journal of ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING is striving to become an important display and promotion platform for the development of sciences and technologies in this field.
