RESEARCH PROGRESS OF PHENOLIC WASTEWATER TREATMENT BY CATALYTIC OZONATION

  • Catalytic ozonation is an advanced oxidation technology which combines the strong oxidizing property of ozone with its character of being catalyst. Catalytic ozonation has obvious advantages in the treatment of phenolic wastewater. The progress of catalytic ozonation of phenolic wastewater at home and abroad has been systematically summarized. The merit and demerit of different reaction systems has been discussed and some suggestions for improvement and development direction has been pointed out in this article.
