By using the monitoring data of PM10 and PM2. 5 of Wuhan and Xi'an in 2013,the pollution level of PM10 and PM2. 5
was analyzed and compared between the two cities. According to the secondary concentration limit of“Ambient Air Quality
Standards of China”( GB 3095—2012) ,the pollution status of PM2. 5 is very serious both in Wuhan and Xi'an,the pollution of
PM10 is relatively lighter. On the whole, the pollution of Xi'an is more serious than Wuhan. The PM2. 5 accounts for about 79%
of the total PM10 in Xi' an. The problem of pollution of PM10 and PM2. 5 in Wuhan and Xi' an should be paid attention by
relevant departments.
