In order to make a brief discussion and summarization of the present situation and problems of heavy metal reference
materials，and meet the needs of the full implementation of“Comprehensive Prevention and Control of Pollution of Heavy
Metals in the Twelfth Five-Year-Plan”and other relevant environmental standards， the relevant countermeasures and
suggestions on the development of environmental reference materials on the basis of problem analysis were put forward．
