As human enjoy the convenience of the advanced technologies, electromagnetic radiation is gradually coming into our
living space. By detecting the electromagnetic condition in the city of Baotou for many years,including the electromagnetic
radiation of TV and medium wave around the tower,the environmental quality and the main sources of electomagnetic radiation
pollution. Integrated electromagnetic values range for environmental monitoring field is between 0. 30 V/m and 0. 47 V/m,the
average annual value is 0. 41 V/m. Because the average value of integrated field strength of the radio and television
transmission towers is differentiated by the distance,ranges from 1. 26 to 3. 43 V/m and from 1. 44 to 5. 34 V/m,seperately.
These monitoring values are within the standard limits. However,it can be concluded that the high impact of the radio and
television transmission towers on the electromagnetic radiation environment.
