To understand the preparation characteristics and component of the wood vinegar based on medical waste as the raw
material,the magnetic pyrolysis experiment have been modulated and the condensed liquid has been collected to do component
analysis by GC-MS. Thirty-eight kinds of organic ingredients have been detected out,including organic acids,phenols,
aldehydes,ketones and esters. Using the area normalization method for quantitative analysis of the main components,the
results showed that the component of condensed liquid from magnetized pyrolysis of medical waste was very close with the wood
vinegar,especially the high content of acetic acid ( 18. 48%) and phenol ( 5. 15%) ,which proved that it was possible to
prepare wood vinegar from medical waste by magnetized pyrolysis. However, the influence on the function caused by the
differences in component between the two kinds of liquids needs further exploration.
